I cannot recommend Uptown Sewing enough! For my wedding on May 30, 2026, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Miss Jane, and she was truly a blessing throughout the entire process.

She altered my wedding dress, and the results were flawless. You could not tell where any alterations had been made it looked like the dress was created just for me. She helped transform my gown into the princess dress I had always dreamed of wearing on my wedding day.

Miss Jane also came to the rescue with my two boys’ outfits. Their pants were too big, and one jacket even arrived missing a pocket. She worked her magic and had everything looking perfect and wedding ready.

Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also kind, patient, and genuinely cares about her customers. My husband and I feel so blessed to have found her. She played a huge part in making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.

It was easy to set my appointment on line and, once notified my clothes were finished, I set another to pick them up and try them on. Jane did an excellent job. She was very attentive and her years of experience shows in the excellent work she did on my alterations. I would definitely recommend Jane and this business.
